Pennsylvanicus means from Pennsylvania in Latin. Spell the name just like the state.

"The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer." Prov. 30:25
Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.

Building off what ANTdrew said, it's also spelt Camponotus, just spell it the way it's pronounced (or at least how I pronounce it) "Camp-oh-not-is/us".  Also yes, the caps is a bit excessive.

I agree with C. Pennsylvanicus. This belongs in Ants ID requests, just so you know.

Ants are cute, that's that.

Both of these things have been established. No need to keep posting on a topic in a completely wrong section.

I see no problem with his post. If he wants to help with the ID he has the right to do so.

My point was that the post is in the wrong section, so it would be better just to let it die now that many people have already identified it. It can also be confusing for new members if they see a ID request in the forum feedback section. It would probably confuse me if I just joined.
