Everything has continued to do good. I didn't take pictures so if anyone wants pictures just say of what.
Update July 28th
V. pergandei - Up to 12 workers and some brood.
Species Addition 31.iiv.2021
Dormyrmex sp. - Recently caught a few of these.
M. romainei - Not much to say besides it's a pretty looking queen.
M. cf kennedyi aka "purplebacks" - If this is the "purpleback" that produces workers that are mainly red/orange with a black gaster then this is M. kennedyi.
M. mexicanus - I recently was able to watch these fly and start digging their chambers, so I got the few that were mixed in with the M. navajo. Most, if not all, of the ones I collected are tiger morphs.
M. navajo - Collected some of these, a lot are tiger morphs.
Crematogaster sp. #1 - Only got one of these queens.
Pheidole sp. #1 - Got a few of these gals.
Ph. cf xerophila - Got some of these queens as well. I like the look of this species, so hopefully these are successful.
P. rugosus - I received some of these and have one in a dirt tower and one in an experimental formicarium, the rest are in tubes.

Pheidole sp. 1 is a Crematogaster sp., likely mutans.
The second Pheidole species is probably cerebrosior, but can't be fully sure.
Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.
However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:
Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
Pheidole sp. 1 is a Crematogaster sp., likely mutans.
The second Pheidole species is probably cerebrosior, but can't be fully sure.
Thank you.
Little update, all the M. mexicanus and M. navajo have been fed sugars. All the other Myrmecocystus such as M. romainei and M. cf kennedyi have also been fed, I did not feed any of the Pheidole, Dorymyrmex, or the Crematogaster. Lastly, I decided to try a two queen Pheidole cf xerophila colony and a two queen Pheidole cf cerebrosior colony.
Now it's time to forget about them in my incubator.
