I don't have many test tubes left, I know I could buy more, but I was wondering if there were any alternatives for replacing test tubes. Maybe something even better then normal test tubes.

Been keeping ants since January of 2021

Always try new things, even if its hard, hard is not impossible. We are smart and it's good to be smart but not too smart for your own good.

You could try vinyl tubing and plug up one end. There’s is really nothing cheaper in the hobby than test tubes, though.

Maybe you could use founding nests, but someone more experienced than me could/should ( how do I make it sound respectful, basically, what I said can be easily contradicted ) weigh in on how useful such nests are.
