What is the best substrate for ants to dig in and the substrate won't collapse
There was a type of substrate I heard on youtube but I can't find the video it was something like

DIGFAST
DIG FAST
DIG STAY
TUNNEL STICK
DIG SAFE
It's something along them lines I THINK,

Do you guys have a good mix of your own somthing that won't collapse or maybe that dries hard as I want them to build a nest entrance,

I personally use playground sand and I had no issues with collapsing.
When the surface dries it gets like concrete.
I make sure it's not too shallow and I compress it a lot.

Some brands put additives to make it smell like lemon I used it before with no issues but I'd avoid it if possible just in case.
