3. Habitat of collection: Grassy backyard with lots of pine and oak trees and summer flowers {Like you imagine grandmothers perfect summer yard}
4. Length (from head to gaster): . As big as my camponotus pennsylvanicus easily. So just about 12 mm long.
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Glossy black with fine silver hairs here and there, Black and dark brown gaster but only see the brown now that she is full of food and eggs.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: ???
7. Distinguishing behavior: No fear of me or light
8. Nest description: Unknown
9. Nuptial flight time and date: 1am on May, 5 is when i found her walking around looking for a spot to start her nest.
