Hey guys, I need some help moving my fledgeling crematogaster colony into a new test tube. My fledgeling crematogaster colony consists of a queen, 4 workers, and some brood. My Crematogaster's are very stubborn and don't like moving, but i'm going on a trip in a few days and their water reservoir is empty and a don't want them to die of dehydration while i'm gone. I'm trying exposing them to light while covering the new test tube, putting a bag of cold water underneath their old test tube to encourage them to move away from the cold. But they are very stubborn.
Do you guys have any other tricks or idea's on how to move them out of their old test tube into their new test tube in just a couple days?
Ill be leaving for a week, will they die of dehydration in that time, or will they be fine?
If they won't be fine, what are some ways I could make sure they are hydrated so they don't die?
