So I'm about to finish up my new wood formicariums, but I'm still trying to find a better tool for carving the chambers. Right now I'm using a mounted drill press, which is fast and efficient, but it lacks the smooth and rounded edges of a router tool. I'm looking for a compact router, but if you have experience with other types, such as a router table, I'd love to hear about it. I know Foranto's tool of choice is free moving router, and that's where I'm getting inspiration from. Any other recommendations for different tools besides a Dremel or drill press would be appreciated as well.
