Hey There! I'm new to ant keeping and would like to get an ID on these queens I caught last night. If anyone has an idea of what species they are please let me know. If More pictures are needed, I can upload more.
Much appreciated.
I’m a noob ant keeper so this might be wrong but if I had to put money on a species I would put it on the Argentinian ant.
I agree looks like an argentine ant (linepithema humile)
U sure guys? Looks more like a brachymyrmex or Plagioplepis species to me

Yea once you see an Argentine you know whenever you see another. But I do still think Plagioplepis is a possibility cuz Plagioplepis queens are also tiny and look similar to brachymyrmex.Brachymyrmex patagonicus queen. I don’t know how people got this wrong, argentines look very different.
plagiolepis aren’t in North America, except for alluaudi, which is a global invasive and only present in south florida.Yea once you see an Argentine you know whenever you see another. Brachymyrmex patagonicus. Quite common in urban and suburban areas here in Southern California.
