I need to get some aquarium silicone, and this was for a good price. However, I could not find whether it was non toxic or not.

Yes that one is good. Use for aquariums is what to look for.

Yes. I use that in all my builds. I even sealed a gap in my Nucleus while ants were living in it.

Yes. I used that to make a mold container for my formicarium.

Edit: As long as it says food safe or FDA approved it means it will be okay for the ants

Wow, I forgot that stuff even existed. I'll have to pick some up from Lowe's next time I head into town. I have a few projects that hot glue doesn't quite cut...

I get mine at Home Depot. Way cheaper than aquarium silicone, which is the exact same thing.

Do keep in mind that these materials, while safe after curing, liberate a significant amount of acetic acid, AKA vinegar.  This is harmful to ants until the vinegar smell is fully eliminated.

Depending on the amount of ventilation, it may take several days or longer for the cured material to become safe for ants to be introduced.  Use your nose to tell when it is safe.

I’ve used it for years in my colony and never had any problem. Just wait a week after curing.

Ahhh, I wish I had the time. My tetramorium colony is in desperate need of a new home, as there's is now moldy. Probably gonna have to use magnets, or more likely screws to hold the glass onto the formicarium.

I always use neutral curing silicone for my terrarium decorations I make.
I'm working for longer periods on a piece so the normal sicilone is impossible to work around indoors
