Can you use water crystals as a water source for ants?

Does anyone use water crystals to provide water for feeder insects such as crickets or dubia roaches?

Thanks!

I have before. They don't do well. Its a waste of money for ants. For crickets and roaches it may be fine. If they consume the pieces fast enough, or else they dry up fast, and make more trash for you to collect as you clean the enclosure.

They don't really work well for ants. Better just use a water feeder.
