I think it's some sort of fire ant.

Hard to say for sure, Solonopsis species?

 

Maybe Solonospisis ivicta or something along those lines.

Probably S. invicta, seeing as they do live in Weatherford. However, S. xyloni also exists there and S. geminata is present only 2 counties away to the east and 4 counties or so the south.
I've seen probably 10,000 fire ant alates of both natives and RIFA here in Austin in the past week.
