It would most likely be fine. If you really want to be sure, you could put a bead of silicone around the glass. You could test it by, say, filling it up with wild Argentine ants and seeing what they do.
I have my Pheidole bicarinata, which are perhaps smaller than Monomorium, living in a Fallen Fortress with no issues, but it was designed for tiny species.
