Just a fun thread to see how long everyone has been here. I have been a member since August 15, 2018.

I've been here officially since February 8th, 2014.  Before that, I was a member of the yuku forum and lurked here as a guest for a little bit.  Drew then invited me to here saying I wouldn't have to worry about precise grammar all the time.

Edit: wow, going on 4 years. I have learned quite a bit.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Since Covid became a thing, though I’ve spent much of that time lurking and reading old posts. This board and it’s search feature has been the single most important discovery on my trip down the rabbit’s hole.
