It was the Animal Quiz thread and one of their looking to buy threads. I don’t see why a perfectly reasonable request of writing actual sentences should be so offensive that they have to quit. Quitting is just such an immature way to handle something like this. If you want, come back when you’re ready to stop treating it like a Discord.

Yeah i think you’re just used to the fast paced nature of discord and are a little immature for forums. In a few months or longer come back and fix your grammar. The good thing about forums is that you can take your time to write your post instead of having to type fast and ignore errors so you don’t get flooded out.

This is part of the decline of the forum. In its glory days, people couldn’t stop talking about how great of a community this was, how friendly, how welcoming it was. People didn’t quit. People only had love for FC, and there was no drama. Now there’s drama galore: (including but not limited to) Venadyn, double posts, you.......

Seriously? There has been occasional drama on the forum ever since it was created. Most of it carried over from the Yuku forum at the time. There was actually a lot more back then as a matter of fact. There also were members back then who too felt the need to let everybody know they were quitting because of it. It's nothing new. If you don't like the drama, the best thing to do is to not participate in it.

Yeah I've been around the English speaking online ant community for longer than Formiculture has existed and this place despite its issues and imperfections is on average significantly better run and drama free compared to all the other English language ant forums of this type that I've seen come and go over the years. Anytime you find yourself thinking that this place has issues or too much drama, believe me when I say that the default situation for ant forums has been historically far far worse.
