Does Perfect Cast absorb water?

I am going to be making some Perfect Cast nests.  I will not be making water towers, so I would just like to know if Perfect Cast can absorb water so I can use sponges.

Yes, it acts basically identical to hydrostone. I don’t even know what the difference is between the two.

Thanks for telling me that. Hydrostone seems to be a more expensive than Perfect Cast, so I guess I will just use Perfect Cast.
