Collecting brood using natural worker rescue behavior

I randomly stumbled on this gem while researching.

This is pretty awesome. I could see this working really well for lots of different species, especially mound ants.

 

Anyone have other tips for collecting brood easier?

^^ this would only work on solenopsis as they keep their broods close to the surface
