Hey Lilyrose, for your tapinoma sessile, I recommend trying to merge them. First start out by taking a worker from a colony and put it into another. If a fight starts and they kill the foreign worker then don't merge them. But if they accept the worker from another colony then you can merge them.
(Idk if you can understand what I just said cuz I didn't really make it clear, someone help me explain better pls)
Young ant keeper with a decent amount of knowledge on local ant species.

Currently kept ant species, favorites have a star in front of their names (NOT in alphabetical order, also may be outdated sometimes):
★ Camponotus irritans inferior, ★ Ooceraea biroi, Pheidole parva, ★ Nylanderia sp., ★ Paraparatrechina tapinomoides, Platythyrea sp., Anochetus sp., Colobopsis sp. (cylindrica group), ★ Crematogaster ferrarii, Polyrhachis (

cf. pruinosa, Polyrhachis (Cyrtomyrma) laevissima, Tapinoma sp. (formerly
Zatapinoma)
Death count: Probably over a hundred individual queens and colonies by now. I cannot recall whatsoever.
