so i was doing some research on myrmecologists and found something quite interesting. from 1977 to 2000 switzerland featured myrmecologist auguste forel on their 1000 dollar banknote, plus ants!

probably because not many people like ants. It’s a shame too because these banknotes cost like 500-700 bucks for a collection, and I’d definitely buy one if it was cheaper!
