I just received a camonotus hyatti colony, but it has no brood at all. Is there any hope for the colony.

Yes. If it has workers then yes but if it’s just a queen then yes.

Currently: Considering moving to Australia

How large is the colony?

Um are you saying yes to both situations?

I am saying there is a good chance they can come back bedending if the queen produces or has produced before. If she has then you just have to play the waiting game and make sure she is alright.

They're probably getting ready to hibernate.
