but it is really weird how he is always around kids and likes kids worshipping him so much. Not saying anything is going on, its just really weird and creepy. most adults wouldn't enjoy kids so much, unless its their profession or family members or if their friend(s) have children and what not.

Jealous?

Uh...that makes it even creepier. Why would I be jealous of another adult getting a ton of kids? I actually think kids are disgusting for one, but why would an adult be jealous of another adult having a bunch of kids as friends and to go anting with and worshipped by kids? that's really really weird...

We can't go to the retirement park, they declined us. Not because we are positive, but because they have no room in their quarantine building (one family only). We are just gonna stay here as they work, so that is better anyway as actually. No one is allowed to leave the quarantine building so it be boring as heck if we went. No computers either, so all I'd have is my phone. Though, throughout the day we'll have to leave the unit as they work, depending where they are working and what they are doing.

They ended up giving into dads request of us just staying, because we have covid and so they agreed because of that, we shouldn't leave anyway. I don't think they will be too happy with working around covid positive tenents, but they do wear good masks (the ones painters wear, not the cloth masks) and gloves, and use hand sanitizer as well. So its fine.

And probably better anyway...there wouldn't be much point going into quarantine way out in the desert and literally doing nothing. Sounds like the most boring thing ever lol

Oh, well, yeah, hopefully will work out for you guys. Sounds good in that regard. Definitely try to stay out of the workers' way. That new variant sounds horrendously easy to spread. We've already lost someone to COVID and I know other families have lost loved ones, so everyone stay careful out there.

If that was really P. megacephala, I have no idea why he did not contact the California agricultural department instead of pest control  .

I currently maintain a site dedicated to the hyper-diverse myrmicine genus Pheidole.:
