I have been keeping track of all the species I've found within the state of South Dakota. Some are not recorded by AntWeb or AntMaps. I just thought I'd list them, and feel free to do the same:

 

Aphaenogaster picea

Camponotus americanus

Prenolepis imparis

Stigmatomma pallipes

Tetramorium immigrans

I gave him a colony. One of the most abundant species in the forests around here to be honest.

Nope. Proceratium creek (link) is one of the rarest Proceratium that I know of.

Who confirmed the id on the Pheidole tepicana?

I did. I am positive they are not Ph. rhea, and those are the only other trimorphic Pheidole anywhere near TN.

Potentially Forelius mccooki (specimen collection and ID verification needed)

 

I also made the first ever record of Camponotus sexgutattus in the Florida Keys, Key Largo to be specific.
