Those're pupae. That queen (Solenopsis geminata) will be getting her first workers in about a week. Congrats!

Thanks. I got that ant around couple weeks back and completely forgot about them. Also, can someone identify that ant while we at it? If not clear enough, I'll take another picture.

That's great, uh due to the fact I haven't done this in a while, I'm a bit unprepared on what to do next... The ants have already hatched.

Feed them some sweets like sugar water or honey.

Besides that, what kind of ant house (forgot what it's called) do I give them? Many of the ant workers have already been born.

get a clear plastic bottle, then get some dirt from a near by abandoned fire ant mound, then boil the dirt in water let it dry then dump the dirt in the bottle and then dump the ants in or cut a hole the size of the test tube entrance and connect the test tube to that. or get a tuperware container mix some hydrostone or plaster pour some of the hydrostone or plaster into it let stand for around 36 hours and you might want to use a paper towel to absorb the excess moisture. when the hydrostone or plaster has cured place the test tube in and make sure the ants can not escape like a barrier like rubbing alcohol and baby powder continue to put water in the one you want them to move into and they will know when to move. make sure to feed them proteins and carbohydrates. :)

Why the dirt? Also you don't need the hydrostone or plaster just a test tube in a plastic bin will work.

Tubs and tubes is probably the best starting nest. Just a test tube in a container. Make sure the container has a good escape barrier for this species. You don't even need dirt in the container if you don't want it but it may be better for the ants to have some.

I guess that the soil I use wasn’t very clean or the food wasn’t.

Another guess could be that the termite I gave as food days ago may have rot which lead to have possibly infecting the ants. I may have screwed up again as always, hopefully in the future I may succeed. Scratch soil off the list for now.
