Camponotus castaneus has been on my list for a while. Also some Crematogaster or Pheidole. And despite it being one of the more plain and beginner-y ants, getting some Lasius wouldn't be bad because I've had not-great luck with them in the past and I'd like to try again.

I don't really know, only true ant goals I have set for this year is to get a fairly large honeypot colony. Maybe I could try to catch some Acromyrmex once I have researched, planned, and when I am equipped to care for Acromyrmex.

My Ants:
(x1) Campontous semitstaceus ~20 workers, 1 Queen
(x1) Camponotus vicinus ~10 workers, 1 Queen (all black variety)
(x1) Tetramorium immigrans ~100 workers, 1 Queen
(x1) Myrmercocystus mexicanus -1 Queen
(x2) Mymercocystus mimcus -1 Queen
(x1) Mymercocystus testaceus ~45 workers, 1 Queen

Pheidole rhea is my white whale. Seeing Cephalotes rohweri would be cool too, but I don't plan on keeping them. I'm also definitely fixing to get more Atta and another Neivamyrmex colony.

My white whale is Nylanderia arenivaga.
Trachymyrmex septentrionalis would be awesome, but I only want to find nuptial queens. Seems like most people just dig up their colonies, but I refuse to do that for any species.

Realistic ones: Formica perpilosa, Tetramorium immigrans, Hypoponera, Myrmentoma, Liometopum occidentale and Crematogaster.

Unrealistic ones: Strumigenys, Camponotus laevigatus/quercicola, Myrmecocystus, Acromyrmex, Parasitic Formica, and Parasitic Lasius.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
