So idk if this is just me, but I always link people to and remember them by their profile pics. So when people change their profile pictures, I get all confused like "who posted this?"

is this just me-

I have had difficulties with this too. Be prepared for yet another change of my profile pic, since the new old one is sideways. :sarcastic:

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

I have a beard (though it’s not white yet, unfortunately), and I love the Smurfs. I won a costume contest a few years back dressed as Papa Smurf. If you look closely in the pic, he is holding a test tube.

Nope, I feel the same way. I made one change in almost 3 years. I think I’ll keep this one.

Yes, the test tube is the best part.  I remember when I first joined thinking that was clever.  Lol.  I haven't watched the Smurfs' in forever, why is he holding a test tube?  Is that a reference to something in the movies?

When I change my profile pic I always keep it within a common theme, that being South Dakota. However now that I have our franchise's logo, I doubt I'll ever change it again, unless our logo were to change.

Papa Smurf is holding a test tube because in basically every episode he invents some potion to save the Smurf village.
