Novomessor cockerelli

I got this colony back in September with around 10 workers. They currently have around 150 workers, and I'm keeping them in a DIY nest that's not exactly the most impressive. I bet they'd grow faster in a Tar Heel nest, but I'm too broke for those.
The queen has been busy laying eggs.

This colony currently has around 30 workers, and 2 full repletes. For some reason, they only take protein if I throw it down their nest entrance; any insects left in their outworld are thrown in the trash.
The queen laid a fresh batch of eggs. I also need to give them more substrate for pupation.

This colony has around 5 workers, and their fungus looks really healthy right now. I've been keeping them in the closed cabinet drawer with a heating mat in it for ambient heat.
I don't see any eggs which kind of concerns me, but there's a larva and two pupae. I think they're also trying to grow fungus off the wall??
