Perfect. You will have heat coming off the wall near the house that will hopefully keep it above freezing. Keep your ants closest to this wall as you can. The key will be not to leave the garage door open for long periods of time as you mentioned earlier.

i need to somehow heat up my ants in my garage, even though they are in a cooler and another insulator, it gets that cold here. i might need to buy a heating pad.
