Have you seen your fruit flies do this?

it was hilarious. I have never seen them do this in a culture bin, but I had taken these few out and put them in a container with paper towel and fruit.

Yeah and the loopy circle? They kept going. I edited it short because it was getting boring.

yes I've seen my do it. Its funny typically its just 2-3 flys doing it but every once and a while there will be a large line of them like in your video.

That's hilarious. What media do you use for culturing them? 

 

I've been using this: https://bigfatphids....fly-culture-mix

with some yeast added to avoid mystery fungus.

But I understand you can make your own for very cheap.
