That server is terrible. I left it awhile ago because the more experienced people either weren't active, left, or were kicked. All that remained were a bunch of teenage antkeepers were zero empathy. I'm talking making extra colonies fight to the death, or essentially killing extra queens by putting all of their brood into one queen's test tube. Not seeing the mods do anything about that. Not sure what the rest of the server is like, but the northeastern section is a dumpster fire.

That's a good point really, I've never found a community that has the experienced people take up a brunt of the activity. If you think about it however there's a reason for that. Experienced people have better things to do than sit around on a server/forum all day, they have jobs to get done and people to work with. Meanwhile the inexperienced population of the community is generally bored and largely constituted of juveniles. They have too much time to kill, and they do that by arguing, ranting, trolling, or asking questions that can easily be answered with a bit of research. Not to say there shouldn't be a large inexperienced portion of the community doing the majority of the "stuff" that goes on, just that it's a real thing that we can't do much about. Asking the experienced people to step up in their activity levels is like asking someone to quit their real life so they can talk to people about things they don't really care about. It's unreasonable.

Growing up tends to also increase empathy, since apparently psychopaths are a minority. Also that wasn't really my point. You obviously don't value your ants if you can't spend 5 extra minutes feeding a 2nd and 3rd tetramorium colony, and instead make them fight to the death. The mods suck, banning helpful people for rubbing them the wrong way, and [censored] like this is allowed

There is a lot of experienced folk on the Antkeeping and ethology server. I'm not trying to advertise it here I'm just saying if you're looking for experienced antkeepers AKE has quite a few.

You are free to not click on the thread to read it. Dunno why people click on threads or topics in any forum and they hate the thread and then complain they had to read it and see it (which is "this thread should die" is the same thing. Its like they live in china and are being forced to read american threads to infiltrate the american internet, from tiny forums to big forums lol. Dunno what other reason it could be so hard to just not click a thread someone doesn't like. See it all the time. All I can imagine that makes logical sense (that doesn't make me feel incredibly bad for that person) is chinese infiltrators being forced to consume content they hate lol. At least they'd have a reason to complain because they actually would legit be forced to read a thread they hate it or see it or click on it.

In general, I dunno why people go to content they hate (even videos or any other content besides threads) and then complain about it or want it removed or whatever, when there could be vastly better things to do with their time and they aren't actually forced to consume that content. The only logical sense is the vast majority really are chinese infiltrators that legit are forced to consume american content.

nah, even if were an infiltrator wouldn't care. Though I actually love the chinese and have chinese friends and support china, so there is that. Love china's history and culture, though like asian culture in general.

 

I just dunno what would make people be forced to consume content they hate and then complain about it, unless they were agents for another country and forced to lol. It otherwise makes no sense. I only brought up china  as a semi-joke, but also because they do often actually do go to sites on places like reddit and twitter with their political bots. Was supposed to be more humor though than anything actually offensive, I'd have used another country in my kinda joke if US had even worse relations with someone else, but in this case, US and china's relations is the worst currently. But like I said, I actually love china and the chinese.

 

Either way, I still think its the only logical explanation of them being agents for another country, and being forced to read content or watch content they hate lol. Dunno how else someone would willingly do that, unless they are trolling.

I think Vendayn actually means not Chinese infiltrators but AAK infiltrators that are forced to monitor all ant communities to find people that violate their rules about keeping exotic ant colonies, so they can ban them from their garden Eden of an ant community.
