Which problem should be solved? I don't want back on that server. I just want protect innocent ant keepers from joining this toxic server.

Half of FC is banned already. And half of that banned people are innocent.

So there's a fixable problem, but you'd rather just bash it and break it more rather than fixing it? But thanks anyways for bringing it to AAK's attention, they are currently working on fixing it

Yep, the problem is fixable: Soul and all of the current mods have to go and be replaced by reasonable people, maybe from here, from other discord servers.

 

And Soul and all the mods have to publicly excuse for all the bad things they have done to the ant keeping community.

I agree with a lot of the points you make but this seems excessive.

what bad things? From what I've seen they've been tying to expand the hobby and make it easier to get into, I've only seen good, a few bad mods don't destroy a hobby

I agree with a lot of the points you make but this seems excessive.

It's a good resource though. I've learned so much about ant-keeping on it.

I've learned most from forums and that's also my main problem with all discord servers, all facebook groups, whatsapp groups or whatever. They are all private, so google can't index them, so nobody will be able to find anything via google search.

True, but if u do find a server like AAK as a beginner it's a gold mine(I know from personal experience)

I was a longtime user of AAK, I have no real issues with the server or the mod team. That is... other than soul and serafine. Every other mod has been friendly to me except for soul and serafine. My issues with soul started over two years ago when I was going to buy carebara diversa for $100. Long story short I never did buy those carebara, I got a one week ban (instead of permanent) as I never actually went through with the trade. That I'm fine with. Over a year later, I was banned for "bullying", promoting illegal trade, and a few other things. The story kept changing, and eventually I figured out what I think is the most likely reason. I believe the reason I was banned is because soul found out (not hard to do) that I still talked to people who had traded illegally in the past. My issues with serafine began when he started claiming that I was bullying children out of AAK. Anyone who has talked with me for more than 5 minutes knows this is a complete lie. When I asked him to remove his comments I got a big "[censored] off" and "you're the issue here" from serafine. Both soul and serafine dodged the question at least a little bit, soul came up with excuses and finally gave me pathetic "evidence" of my bullying which was someone saying they didn't like me much...

Soul likes to guilt trip people to make them feel bad for him whenever he is accused of doing something [censored]. I realized that LONG ago during my first ban. He even did it in the screenshot someone posted earlier, he did the whole "look at me I did sp much and spent so much money on this hobby and they hate me" routine. This is not the first time and I'm sure I can find more examples in mine and others DMs. I used to talk to him quite a bit, even joking, and I've learned so much about him. Way more than I ever wanted to.

Shoutout to all the good AAK mods: Noebl1, Lyaarone, that one girl from the netherlands who isn't a mod anymore, xanuri, coltrain, and pretty much everyone other than soul/serafine. The only people who I can't vouch for are the mods added in late 2019 and 2020 as I have never talked to them.

Yep I also had to witness how it is being slandered by Slanderfine. As I already posted in another thread he spread lies about me in a German discord server, while I was absent from there (wasn't and I am not banned there and I am there again...), claiming that I was banned from AAK because I posted racist nazi [censored], which was a lie.

First I never did that and second, they banned me for another reason (it is hard to tell the exact one because Soul and Serafine are keeping changing the reason they banned me lol).
 
So we can clearly say that Serafine is a notorious slanderer who pulls things out of his [censored] to make people look bad he doesn't like. But I think that perfectly qualifies him for being a mod at AAK discord server.

in my experience lyaarone is just as bad. He claimed i asked people for exotics on the server when i never did and was always out to get me. He found out i posted about messor on formiculture and proceeded to humiliate me in general chat and ban me. Coltrain is the only aak mod who is an actually good human being.

this thread is honestly getting ridiculous. As someone who is not on the AAK server, i think that even though it seems like the mods may be a little over the top with their rules, or whatever else they have done, yall really need to chill.

Some people have valid points, but do you really have to make a thread like this where you know it will become controversial and probably just add to whatever fights u guys have in the server.

you don't like the server? don't like the mods? don't like their rules? don't join the server again. don't talk to the mods. i see no reason to making a thread like this except just to bring up arguments and insult people. 

and besides, what do you get out of arguing all day on something this trivial.

I left because it was creepy adults loved being worshipped by kids on that discord. Some adult ant keepers would hop on and right away everyone would start praising them (not literally, but pretty much what they did) and most of it was from kids. Was a little weird and creepy.

I was banned on October 9th for something that happened in VC. Since then I hear that the chat in which I am only active in has died because barely anyone talks there
