$100 is cheap for a phallanx and that large of a colony. I would buy that colony in a heart-beat if I lived up there.


You can buy them. P. occidentalis is no longer a plant pest, so you can buy them from anywhere in the continental U.S.

If it’s the Pogonomyrmex you’re interested in, keep in mind California requires a permit still.
