Ill get this started with my woodlouse spiders,
I have these in a set up with a couple isopods it is a very small red and tan spider which is cool and I have a male and female that i'm waiting for them to mate.
Silver agouti guinea pig
My baby! a cute little guinea pig with silver hairs mixed with black and white.
Tan agouti guinea pig.
This one is so mean and spoiled and she won't ever let me hold her for more than 2 minutes.
A fat boy.
I think this explains itself ill get pictures soon.

A. avicularia A cute little Actually pretty big tarantula which i named amazon which is around where she comes from, she about 6 inches stretched out and is moody but harmless and i've held her more than once, she loves munching on crickets. Ill get pictures for everything else soon.

Also as an update for this, my woodlouse spider escaped.  :thinking: it happened while i was moving its enclosure to a better one to dig in and she kinda ran out the cup and then took off. sooo... i didn't feel like going under the table to check in cracks waiting for her to drop on my face

I can hold one of my guinea pigs for over an hour now. The key was just picking him up every day, and gradually increasing the time out of his cage. This process took about a year.


Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies. 

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Mine got used to me well except for the brown one she's still mean to me :*( but not really i can only hold her for about 20 minutes but my grey one is mine and only mine he likes me the most out of all my family and i can hold her anytime and she lays down and goes to sleep.

awesome! i used to have gerbils, and wish i still had. they were so fast, but they didn't love to be cuddled as much as guinea pigs.

I used to have a gerbil with no tail! Which is called a hamster it loved to be held and would literally spit food into our hand because it loved us. It never bit me either.

yes they are! i have tons in my backyard, and i actually got a female lay an egg sac for me. she actually encased herself inside, so i was like... maybe she’s molting?? and then one day i open her deli cup and tons of these tiny pale babies rush at me lol.

I would be so scared it tons of those ran at me but I would also be like aaaawwww.

yes! gerbils and hamsters are super clean and nice and never bite humans. their squeaking is super cute as well!

One of my guinea pigs squeaks(the one who isn't so fond of being held), can be heard through the whole house! He also gets so excited about hay, that he'll lean out of the cage, and be pushed by Pip, the super friendly one, into the bin. Or sometimes he just falls in.
