I thought I'd share this video of Gigantiops destructor.  I forgot it existed after I watched it a while ago and just remembered some of you may like to watch it.

I saw this vid like four months ago and was amazed at this. I watch it again and I am still amazed by their jumping ability. Ants are truly amazing creatures.

Currently: Considering moving to Australia
Reason: Myrmecia

Need to mention the most incredibly amazing part of the video: an ant reading a road sign and following the instructions.

Seriously, how cool is that? The ant sees the symbol and goes left or right depending on the symbol - and does it at full on run speed.

IT IS SO COOL.

Okay TL;DR people:

WATCH THIS VID TO SEE ANTS READING ROAD SIGNS!

There.
