This is a very small species and can be difficult to keep. Would not recommend to begginer ant keepers. They are very fast growing. So far the brood haven't past the pupa stage but they are for sure workers and not males. The queens were caught this year and am going to begin hibernation after the first nanitics arrive. Message me for any questions.

You should probably place a price on them, or say how you want a price to be placed. And if you would be willing to ship them (if so, you should probably include a DOA policy)

Temnothorax curvispinosus, most likely. A relatively slow growing species, with very small colonies of up to 150-200 workers. A great beginner species, with medium food requirements. Feed them every couple days with a small drop of honey and some fruit flies and/or small crickets.

Now kinda unrelated, seeing that the queen is actually temnothorax, but is solenopsis molesta really hard to keep? why?

My friend who I am trying to get on this forum says that S. molesta is super easy. Although he is one of the people who claims that M. mexicanus is super easy to care for.

Mine have been super easy to care for, except for the time an AC product failed and I had to vacuum up the workers and cull them... at least I got most of the queens back.

The only reason I can think of for them being hard is their small size and ability to escape. If you're unprepared then they could escape. Other then that I don't really see a reason. Oh and they can also grow fairly quickly depending on how many queens they have.
