Hey All,

New to this group, obviously... Just wanted to say hey. I am feet from the dark and cold Pacific. Into ants and glad I found this forum.

Outside of Leptomyrmex erythrocephalus, I have attached my favorite ant formica integroides. I have a 125 acrylic aquarium with custom formicarium ready!

I currently have a couple of newly acquired queens, Formica moki and Camponotus semitestaceus. I kept a few colonies in 2017 and 2018 but was outside the US for a year and a half. Slowly getting back into it.

Probably F. obscuripes, and not integroides. An even better ant in my opinion.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
