I know I'm one to talk, but pictures please?

I agree on the food thing. I'm making sure my trio has a large pile of springtails at all times.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

I wasn't going to add pictures because I already took good ones through the entire process the first time. I guess I could add some but I don't really see the point.

I will add 3 pictures. One for eggs, one for big larvae, and one for cocoons. After that then I'll start consistently adding photos.

I wish vb was here honestly because I want some cryptics now like stigmatomma. Or stenema

I'm back๐Ÿ˜ Also, I've got a Stigmatomma trap up right now and hoping to get several queens within the next few weeks! Also, I've been find lots of queens on the few and short warm days we've had! My collection is really growing back up!! ๐Ÿ˜ I'll start some journals here soon!

Including some Hypoponera queens, which is why I'm here, learning more about them๐Ÿ˜
