I am looking for some advice with N. Albersitosus, this is my first time trying out this species. Any and all advice would be extremely appreciated.

I keep Novomessor cockerelli although only queens so far. They need heat to thrive, I keep mine in an incubator at 86 degrees Fahrenheit but I think it is a bit low for them. They can be raised from queens without food, but the are optionally semi-claustral and benefit from being fed during founding. I gave mine seeds and dried bloodworms I bought off Amazon which I have heard they love. I also gave them apple slices for sugar, but I don't think that was a good option due to mold. It is probably best to give them honey for sugar, preferably soaked into cotton to prevent them from getting stuck. I hope that I could be of some help, you can check my journal for more on how I care for my queens.
