I feed all my ants protein every single day. If they don't eat it, I take it out. Fat ants are happy ants.

if only i had that kind of time for my ants(and the money) i would have massive ant colonies!

Feeding my ants only takes ten minutes a night, and it’s my favorite time of the day.

Now they are either burying the fruit fly or adding sand for the larvae and don't care that it's there.

But don't repletes just start as workers, or are they raised from the egg as a replete?

Pretty sure I have a cocoonless pupae even though I gave them sand. What's up with that?

that's just normal stuff to be honest i've seen camponotus not form a cocoon sadly though they usually kill it because it doesn't have a cocoon.

The replete starts as worker. There is no such thing as a 'replete larvae'. If he means 'large larva' that doesn't mean it will develop into a replete, in fact it could be argued that the larger the larva the less likely it will develop into a replete, but would be a forager instead.

Not sure, it just happens sometimes, I had two of those and they both hatched. So don't worry about them.

Huh. This is what I thought until someone suggested the larvae would probably become a replete so I just went with it.

I think the eggs hatched and I am some little larvae.

Not sure what happened to the cocoonless pupae. One of the larvae is covered in sand though. The massive larvae is still as fat as ever.

Both larvae have cocoons now. Finally! Can't wait to see what that fat larvae becomes.

Probably going to find out tomorrow what the big cocoon is. It has the black dot which if I recall correctly means it's about to eclose.

I'm really confused. They put the giant cocoon in the outworld like it's trash. It looks really shriveled. Could it have died?
