This appears to be a species of Crematogaster.

Any chance they'll mate in captivity? I caught some males as well.

Probably not. I'd say your best chance is to put them in their respective test tube setups and hope some are fertile.

Looks like C. mutans, a parasitic species. They need host workers quickly. Actually I'm not too sure now. Maybe boost 1 queen to be safe.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.
However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:
Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
Anyone else think their parasitic. Don't want to drive all the way to find host workers for nothing.

Probably not parasitic, in my experience Crematogaster that have flown to lights are likely already mated.
I've actually blacklighted and caught C. mutans, you'll know if they are if they just die on you in the next two weeks. It wouldn't hurt to try brood boosting regardless to see what would happen.
:>
Any chance with better pics I could get an id? I can take much more detailed ones if it will help.
