I must say, I am curious because it seems like every colony you aquire dies within a few weeks...  What are you feeding them, and what are they living in?

well there were only like 10-20 springtails and the were in dirt and then i dumped them out into water an tried to collect them from the water but only like 5 remained.

 

Ok, I'm even more confused now...  I thought ants died, now it's springtails???

well, we all have our mistakes, you just need to learn from yours and get better. then your ants will die much less. figure out your problems, and fix them.

Bad and good news

First the good news it isn't M. invidia its M. hunteri

Now the bad news is the only reason i was able to get any verification i accidentaly overheated her at a nice temp of 107 F RIP

1 Tetramorium immigrans colony-20 workers

1 Dorymyrmex insanus- 1 queen, used to have workers

 

1 large P. occidentalis colony- around 50 workers, plenty of brood

Look in my Crematogaster journal for an image of how to safely heat queens in test tubes. Just yesterday, I had a customer bake a queen with a heat cable the very first day he had her.

Haven't been on the forum for awhile, but as clarification, I do cancel all US orders, including the queen bought here. 

 

Problem is that I can't exclude US buyers from buying per se, in the cases where they buy non-living things, so the order goes through, and they end up being refunded when I check (Usually on the following Friday or Saturday, or earlier depending on my schedule)
