ok thx
Here where I live all the soil is a sand/clay mixture and they nest in that.I don't think tetramorium really like nestung in sand. Unless you live in Arizona and have the desert dwelling T. hispidum that is.
I think tetramorium could live anywhere!
Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. -Proverbs 6: 6-8
My Nationwide Ant Shop Here I have PPQ-526 permits to ship ants nationwide

i was thinking about using the aus ants ant safe ant sand. how will that do?
Very poorly. T immigrans don't like sand all that much, it seems. Much less a desert type setup.
ok thx
