SoCal has been dry this year. Last year was insane for anting but this year I am having a hard time scrounging up a few of the most common S. xyloni.

SoCal has been dry this year. Last year was insane for anting but this year I am having a hard time scrounging up a few of the most common S. xyloni.
I'm actually seeing an increase in animals here in Santa Clarita. there's also been less argentine ants around. I've found ants colonies/queens that I have never seen here until now (Camponotus sansabeanus, Dorymyrmex insanus, Formica francoeuri and Forelius). Hasn't been a problem in my area
