1. Location (on a map) of collection: Fitchburg MA
2. Date of collection: August 31, 2020
3. Habitat of collection: Driveway. Deciduous forest
4. Length (from head to gaster): 11-12mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Charcoal grey/black
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Very long legs
7. Distinguishing behavior: Tends to play dead. Ran in circles for 3 minutes after I caught it. Very fast.
8. Nest description: N/A

9. Nuptial flight time and date: N/A

Ants I have:

1 Formica fusca group- 0 workers

1 Tetramorium immigrans colony-20 workers

1 Dorymyrmex insanus- 1 queen, used to have workers

 

1 large P. occidentalis colony- around 50 workers, plenty of brood
