Heating Methods

I have three main species all in mini hearths that I keep.  Pogonomyrmex Occidentalis, Formica sp. and Tetramorium Immagrans.  I know that the Pogonomyrmex need extra heat, and I don't know about the others...  Should I buy something extra to heat them with?  If so, what are some good brands?

The tetra could probably go without heat unless you want 279402740 ants by next week. For the formica, id need to know what species. For brands just try and get the name brands like zoo med, exo terra, etc. Also imo, cables are bettet than pads.

I got Jump Start UL-listed seedling heating mats plus their thermostats. The combo is unfortunately kinda pricey, but I didn't want a heating cable that can't even come near itself without posing a fire risk.

 

I put the heating mat on one side so there's a temperature gradient. Also, since I put felt pads on my THA, there's an air gap.
