The colony is fairly large but not that big. I'd put them at around 5k at most?

You might wanna bump that count up to at least 6k.... You've done a great job with them!

Edit: Probably closer to 10k, tbh.

Done with the main piece, now working on the side wall piece, once this is done, time to decorate with some plants and cocopeat and ready to transfer!!

Oh ya, can I seek some opinions?

I was thinking either to transfer them over or do an “expansion” instead. Means if transfer I will empty the old tank totally, if expand I will just find a way to connect the both tanks so I have a even bigger space for them, but I need some idea, how the hell do I connect the both thanks? One is made of thick glass another is thick plastic.. I was thinking to build some sort like a bridge.. any ideas and suggestion please?

I think they would appreciate an expansion.

"God made..... all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds (including ants). And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:25 NIV version

Tetramorium immigrans

Formica cf. aserva, cf. subintegra

Pogonomyrmex occidentalis

Lasius neoniger, brevicornis

There are bits for drilling glass, but your bridge idea may be easier. Plus, it would be really fun watching them travel across it.
