They are doing very well! Just after 4 days of expanding to the 2nd level of the formicarium, they have since further expanded to all 4 levels of the formicarium! And another soon to hatch Super major!!

Check out the moment when a super major is hatching! Still light brown and semi-awake! Her head is way bigger than the other major/Super major!

3months old colony update! They are all growing well!

The super major that recently hatched is growing well! She’s about half the size of the Queen!

Feeding time!! I tried new feeder insect for them.. the red runner roaches!!

Downside is.. they run too fast for my ants and even for me to catch hold of it to pre-kill, upside is they contains more protein than mealworms!

Look at how fast they bring their food back into the nest! They tried so hard to pull the roach up the slope!

New update!! I made a new formicarium out of AAC (Ytong) for my CD, a large piece at 37x20cm.

The moment I put it into the tank, they start to get curious and explore the new formicarium!

And the waiting game starts now.... hope they will move in!!

her compared to the size of her workers is amazing.
