Are there Odontomachus or any trapjaw ants in CA? I can’t find much info online

No, not any that are confirmed, there are some in Arizona though.
My Ants:
(x1) Campontous semitstaceus ~20 workers, 1 Queen
(x1) Camponotus vicinus ~10 workers, 1 Queen (all black variety)
(x1) Tetramorium immigrans ~100 workers, 1 Queen
(x1) Myrmercocystus mexicanus -1 Queen
(x2) Mymercocystus mimcus -1 Queen
(x1) Mymercocystus testaceus ~45 workers, 1 Queen

It's possible, though unlikely. You'd have to go looking in the far southern areas, and no one in the hobby has found them/shown any definitive proof of them.

Somewhere very far in the SoCal desert, I bet there are young queens and colonies of Odontomachus, possibly crossing the border from Arizona into Cali.

Look at the range map of O clarus, I would be extremely surprised if it wasn't down in the southern end of the state. There have been reported collections right along both the Mexico and Arizona border. I would think you could find them anywhere south of Los Angeles if you looked hard enough. Though I was born and raised in Long Beach and never saw any trapjaws 😩
