Store updated 8/31/2020.

Hi! Are you still selling these, and have you been successful in getting them to lay eggs?

Good Evening zantezaint,

I'm interested in the following colony you have listed, if it is still available. I am new to keeping. I live in California, and I’m interested in harvester ants.

Pogonomyrmex subnitidus (Seed-harvester ant) - 3 queens + eggs/larvae/pupae *Collected 07-08/2020: $88.

I'll happily pay for shipping if they are still available.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

All the best,
Oliver

i might wait until they have workers before shipping them to you, as shipping can cause some species to eat their brood. but it is up to you.

edit: now that i read his policies, that won't be necessary, as he ships after he gets a worker.

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. -Proverbs 6: 6-8

Cool, thanks man. I appreciate the reply. I’m looking around and seeing what’s out there. I’d rather have a colony that has a few workers also so I’ll keep looking.

Thanks again,

Best regards,
Oliver
