I found this yellow looking worker that I have never seen in the last 3 visits in Carlsbad. It has always, and always have been the red pogonomyrmex queens and workers. This yellow worker looks like a Pogonomyrmex and is the same size as a Pogonomyrmex worker. Perhaps the albino version in ants? A skin color mutation?
