So I'm thinking about getting a black light setup in my backyard to try and attract queens at night but before I spend a bunch of money on equiptment I wanted to see if I'm wasting my time or if it actually works pretty good.  Also, if you have any tips on the right light or setup, I'll gladly take them :)

It’s definitely not a waste of time. This bulb shined on a white sheet will do the trick:

"The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer." Prov. 30:25
Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.
