The Queen That Landed On Me

A little about my new queen and myself. A few years ago I brought a simple ant Formicarium but did not get round to proceeding with the getting an ant part and over the years I slowly removed the test tubes from my cupboards and protien jelly. Today, while I was relaxing a Queen ant, flew in and landed on my leg looking down, I took a moment to put it outside or maybe into the Formicarium. Here we are I have now one queen ant in a Formicarium (Would have used test tube if I had them). I've gone online order some more bits while using Pepsi bottle caps to put cotton with sugar water in the little home and placed the Ant in a dark place to nest.

I've attached a picture i beleve it to be lasius niger Queen but i could be wrong

I'd say it does look like a Lasius but I'm no expert. Also, is that an omni nest? I heard those are awful for raising new colonies; would recommend buying test tubes or one of the THA founding formicaria.

Looks like Lasius.

Ants I have: Tapinoma sessile(2 queen colony). RED MORPH Camponotus neacticus(now has pupae!), Tetramorium immigrans (x3), Aphaenogaster sp, Temnothorax sp, ~~Brachymyrmex sp.~~ possibly infertile , Ponera pennsylvanica, and Pheidole morrisi!

Other insects: Polistes sp. Queen

Ants I need: Pheidole sp., Trachymyrmex sp., Crematogaster cerasi , Dorymyrmex sp. Most wanted: ~~Pheidole morrisii~~

Ants I have:

1 Formica fusca group- 0 workers

1 Tetramorium immigrans colony-20 workers

1 Dorymyrmex insanus- 1 queen, used to have workers

1 large P. occidentalis colony- around 50 workers, plenty of brood

Hello, this is my first try I got some bits coming Test tube, cotton buds, protien jelly, connectors and tubing. I do not have a big outworld yet but from my reading up i've got sometime. any recomendations on getting good outworld/nests?
